Urban Bricks pizzeria opens in west Greeley with self-serve beverage wall - Greeley Tribune

Urban Bricks — a San Antonio-based franchise founded in 2015 — recently opened a pizzeria at 7008 10th St., Suite 500, near King Soopers in west Greeley's NorthGate Village shopping center.

Aside from its menu of pizza, paninis and salads, Urban Bricks also has a 33-tap self-serve beverage wall courtesy of self-pour dispensing company, PourMyBeer.

Customers act as their own bartenders and they can use self-pour taps to pour a variety of craft beers, seltzers, wines and cocktails, while paying by the ounce, according to a news release.

Customers open their tabs by presenting their identification and credit cards to the staff. The staff verifies the guests are at least 21 years old.

Once they verify the guests' age, the guests are given a PourMyBeer RFID card linked to their credit card, which they can use to purchase drinks.

Each drink can be sampled and poured in whatever quantity the customer desires.

"People love the concept of pouring exactly what they want," Urban Bricks owner Scott Boken said in the news release. "They are having a blast with it."

PourMyBeer CEO Josh Goodman said he feels Urban Bricks and PourMyBeer form a natural partnership.

"Making a great beer is similar to making a great pizza," Goodman said in the news release. "It's all about experimenting with fresh local ingredients to create the best combination. … Urban Bricks' core values are aligned with ours and we're excited to work with them and their franchisees."

Urban Bricks is open 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
